Alternative indie-pop choir
The New Choir is an alternative indie-pop choir, created by and for millennials and Gen Zers. The Rotterdam-based choir sings songs that reflect their generation. The New Choir manages to translate songs from artists like Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, and Little Dragon into captivating choral performances, without losing the heart of the song. The New Choir was founded in 2022 and is directed by Guido Nederstigt.
